Most of us find fall the best season of the year. It is not as cold as winter and not as hot as summer. Radnor Lake State Park

The Radnor Lake State Park has a Class II Natural Area protection.  It is a wonderful spot to see the fall foliage. This is because of its abundance of wildlife viewing opportunities, environmental education programs, several hiking options and it is also situated in an urban area.

The park is only opened during the day and its 1,368-acre expanse covers more than six miles of the trail used for hiking and wildlife observation. Pets, biking, and jogging are only allowed on the Otter Creek Road trail. It also a trail that can be assessed by people on wheelchairs.


Natchez Trace Parkway

This historic, 444-mile scenic parkway links Natchez with Nashville and crosses some of the most beautiful terrains in the states of Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee.

This has earned it a reputation as one of the most scenic drives in the nation. It features a vast array of wildlife, mind-boggling waterfalls, and hike trails. In addition to this, the hardwoods along the parkway explode in color during fall.


Long Hunter Estate Park

Its 2,600-acre vegetation became a state park in 1974. Long Hunter Estate Park has four sections which include,

  • Couchville
  • Baker’s Grove
  • Bryant Grove
  • Sellars Farm

Also, it offers a lot of fun activities which include fishing and hiking and has two boat launch ramps on J. Percy Priest Lake, a group camp, a backcountry campsite, meeting facility, and a visitor center.

It has a 20 km trail with varying terrains and habitat range. This park will be a perfect place to view the fall colors if you love hiking.


Edwin Warner Park

Edwin Warner Park in Nashville is a great spot or nature over to see fall foliage. There are miles of walking trails and mountain biking trails. The Model Airplane Field is something to see. Many picnic pavilions and beautiful greenways.

Percy Warner Parks

The Warner Parks are one of the largest state-owned parks in Tennessee and have a span more of than 3,100 acres of forest vegetation.
